FAQ's
We do require someone to take possession of the equipment. Once done, you can bring the rental kayaks to the back of the trailer, put all equipment on top, take a pic send it to us at (808) 875-4848 and then you’re free to go.
No worries this happens. If you need to cancel, please do us the courtesy of letting us know as soon as you know. We can then put the equipment back into he rental available pool.
Please do not book a rental “just in case” or to “save it”. We depend on your being sincere and honest.
Option 1. Our morning rental from Makena Landing area. This is the most popular as the equipment is delivered and ready to go for you. No transportation required on your end.
Option 2. If you chose a multi day / weekly rentals, you have the option of a paid delivery, or a free pickup from our base yard in Kihei where pads and straps are included. This will not harm your rental vehicle.
Day rentals are just done from Makena Landing.
If you’re taking equipment for a few days or more, you can pickup from our base yard in Kihei. We will include straps and pads for your rental car.
Things do break. If it’s something common, lets say a strap on a backrest, no worries.
Other pieces of equipment tend not to break without being misused. We do charge for this type of breakage.
We assess the issue and will work with you in a fair and professional manner.
Our day rentals currently do from Makena Landing. No charge.
If you require delivery for a multi day delivery, this is a paid option and typically the most common spots would be condos, and beach front homes. If you pick up the equipment from our base yard in Kihei, there of course is no delivery fee and the straps and pads for your car would be included.
For our day rentals we deliver and you take possession at 06:45am. Return time is no later than 10:45am
For multi-day delivery / pickups, we will manage a mutually convenient time.
Our equipment gets rotated often so the photos displayed are similar in brand and model, may not be same color, etc.

Maui is a little fickle for weather and ocean conditions. Early morning is the best time to get out on the water as trade winds typically start building about 11am, or so. These make the waters rough and harder to paddle in.
Go early, enjoy the morning and the best conditions.
These are unattended rentals – meaning you are 100% responsible for yourselves out there. You need to be comfortable launching and landing and everything in between.
Keep in mind, this is an ocean, not a river or lake so one has to be very consciously about the conditions and surroundings.
