Our family had an amazing time with Learn to Surf Maui! The instructors were fantastic with our young kids, making sure they felt safe and comfortable in the water. They broke down the surfing basics in a way that was easy for the kids to understand and had them standing up on their boards in no time. Seeing the smiles on our children’s faces as they rode their first waves was priceless. We couldn’t recommend Learn to Surf Maui enough for families looking for a fun and memorable activity on the beautiful shores of Maui! ……and according to one yelp reviewer, we “suck”, and we “ruined our entire vacation” … we canceled their lessons as the surf was too big to go out safely…….. and wouldn’t pay for their flights as a result……… yeah!…….

You may have seen the shoreline from a distant on a snorkel boat, and thats great. However, join us for a coastline SUP excursion and you’ll see a completely different perspective. Our Kalama SUP is very convenient in Kihei, and we’ll take a paddle down the coastline and enjoy the Kihei scenery and watch some surfers, and see some of the Kihei beach front “cottages” and Mansions side by side Upgrade your SUP experience cruising the Makena coastline and “Billionaire” beach area. A red carpet of sorts, but the waters, reef and corals are amazing here. Love this area and the quiet ride we take enjoying Makena Bay.
Our guide Jamie was not only knowledgeable but also super friendly and made us feel right at home. Paddling along the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by stunning scenery, was pure magic. We’re so glad we opted for the private tour because it felt like we had the entire bay to ourselves.
